Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Jeff C — 31 Aug 2008
The ultimate dysfunctional family coming together for the holidays. Excellent performances by all, O'Toole, Hepburn, Hopkins, Terry, Castle, and Dalton, and a script full of hilariously cruel wit.
"If I were on fire, there's not a living soul who'd pee on me to put the flames out.".
"Let's strike a flint and see.".
"Give me a little peace!".
"Only a little? Why so modest? How about eternal peace, now there's a happy thought.".
