Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Paul W — 09 Dec 2009
This is the quick-witted, smart story of Henry II, Eleanor and his sons played wonderfully by Peter O'Toole and Kate Hepburn. As each of the characters plots and schemes, the slow-minded like myself have to stay on top of the wonderful dialog to gauge who is winning.
Despite a somewhat disappointing conclusion, this is definitely worth a watch if only because it has O'Toole and Hepburn really going at it.
