Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Calvin D — 13 Jan 2011
Maniacally briliiant are the only words that can be used to define the performances from the lead actors. They are truly dominant. They make everyone around them look like fools for even attempting to do a scene with them.
The scenes that they share are simply some of the best I have ever seen. Katherine-freakin-Hepburn and Peter-freakin-O'Toole are legends, and some of the greatest actors the human race has ever known.
