Review of The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) by Biscuits P — 17 Jun 2012
The story revolves around a corrupt lawyer Michael Haller who perfectly plays this top hotshot lawyer dude who seems to find a way out of everything, god that does look like India.
But one fine day he meets his new client who finds a loophole in the system by trying to fool even his lawyer and getting rid of jailtime at any cost.
That is when the real court room drama evolves into a murderous trial.
The script had a bit of something but the makers failed to fully exploit and the film was made in bits and pieces. Matthew McConaghey acts like a dude. The movie revolves only around a bunch of characters seem to be related with that one case in some way.
If nothing else watch it but do not hope for a Cousin Vinny.
