Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Ant- R — 31 Jan 2010
As auge fan of jim jarmusch, I was very much looking forward to this film, and by the end of it was totally unsure of what I watched. underlyingly this film is a mystery in every sense of the word. the main character takes train after train meeting each odd character along the way, each providing him with very cryptic enigmas of information, which, honestly, doesn't do alot for the viewer.
essentially this is jarmusch providing colorful visual cinema with an almost nonexistant or explainable plot. although if tom waits was in this, I would have to boost it a star. god, I love tom waits.
