Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Matthew K — 03 Dec 2009
This film looks stunning, due largely to Christopher Doyle's superb cinematography, and it has a hypnotic dream-like quality that draws you in. The problem is, once it's drawn you in, it fails to take you anywhere particularly interesting.
I enjoyed the atmosphere but found myself fighting to stay awake. I'm not sure it's a good thing when one of the best features of a movie are the main actors suit's.
