The Lighthouse is a modern weird fiction masterpiece. Everything from the claustrophobic 1:19:1 aspect ratio, to the haunting "every frame a painting imagery", to the bizarre, freaky plot linger in the viewer's mind, perturbing them long after the credits roll.
