A completely unique film in 2019. Shot in 4:3 aspect ratio, black and white, starring 2 guys in a lighthouse going mad - thanks A24. As someone said to me, it's like a lucid dream turned nightmare. It's a harrowing movie of two lighthouse keepers going mad, not sure if Willem is gaslighting Robert, or if Robert is on a perpetual bender distorting his reality.
It doesn't matter, it's an intense memorable movie that was a brave move to take.
