Review of The Lighthouse (2019) by Dmlyxcritic — 12 Jan 2020
With amazing performances from the film's two casts, Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, The Lighthouse dives deep into the dark, violent, and gory psyche of the human mind. The cinematography was also amazing, and so was the lighting.
The plot however, often is quite confusing, especially in following the timeline of how long the characters were in the lighthouse. But overall, the story was amazingly brutal and dark. Definitely not for everyone.
