As someone who read the novel, I couldn't wait for those words to be lived out on screen. This beautiful and gut-wrenching tale was still beautiful and gut-wrenching, but like most novel to film adaptations, it didn't pack the punch that i'd hoped for.
Stunning performances by Vikander and Fastbender. While it may be a difficult and beautiful story, I believe it is one worth watching... particularly to see the wonderful Vikander's performance.
