Review of The Life Before Her Eyes (2007) by Peter W — 16 May 2008
I saw this last night at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, preceded by an interview with Laura Kasischke, who wrote the book upon which the film was based. It's an intense drama, some might say emotionally draining, about a girl who faces tragic events during a school shooting.
We meet her as a grown up. Or do we? Afterwards, a group of writers and authors could not agree on how to interpret the twisted plot. Interesting to ponder. Curious if anyone has seen it or what they thought.
