Review of The Life Before Her Eyes (2007) by Andrew E — 19 Aug 2008
A dense yet confused coming-of-age story that features compelling if one-sided performances from Thurman and Wood. While the script is intriguing enough to build a watchable film, Vadim Perelman tries to hard to make the film a lot more artistic than it has any right to be.
The ending is interesting, but it needs the plausibility to come off as credible.
