I love the cinematography of this movie. Even if sometimes it wasnt so relevant to the subject, animals, insects, flowers... Director seem to have good wiev.

However screenplay wasnt that good. It mostly was riddiculus. Unnecessary characters represented, irrelevant seemed sub-stories...

I guess the novel it is based on contains beautiful stories, and maybe all these characters have their own stories. But while writing the screenplay, those stories should be neglected or told completely.

Although I am a huge fan of Uma Thurman, I still think that she wasnt the corect one for this role. I love her acting, but here it was almost annoying. Nothing bad to say about Evan Rachel Wood. This kind of roles in this kind of movies are perfect for her.

Nice film hence... The problem is, it could have been done much more better. This is what saddens me...
