Review of The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004) by David Ray G — 09 Jul 2008
For starters, Geoffrey Rush is Peter Sellers. His portrayal is one of the most uncanny I have ever seen, to the point that even the moments where it slips are still electrifying. Normally such a performance would overshadow the rest of the film, but the entire cast is stellar, the writing is clever and cold, and the direction is inventive and entertaining.
Loving Peter Sellers and not seeing this is a crime.
