Review of The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines (2006) by Mike D — 30 Jun 2010
Much, much better than the first Librarian film?Frakes or first assistant director Paul F. Bernard have made sure that the action fight scenes are properly done and not a complete mess. The film also looks much better than the first too.
It still has some occasional really bad writing here and there and I really do not like the flying sword and pan pipes, but if you can get through that stuff (which is very small) and pretend its not there then it?s a pretty entertaining film with a lot of funny stuff in it.
Also be prepared for a few similarities to The Last Crusade.
It?s a fun film though, and for me the best in the trilogy.
Music again is very good and lot of fun.
