You really can't watch this expecting some great epic adventure. It's more along the lines of spoof/satire. It is a bit of a letdown in comparison to the first film, and the effects are entirely too unreleastic, but it's still a fun, engaging movie that's worth seeing if you're a fan of comedy/adventure.
