Review of The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004) by Cade H — 09 May 2010
This made for TV movie was a cheap mix between Indiana Jones and National Treasure. It would have been decent if it had some better actors, a larger budget and if it did not have to stay within the made for television guidelines.
Even the one big name in the movie Bob Newhart did a horrible job and for being an adventure movie nothing was very adventurous. I do not see how after this one there were two sequels but I guess some people enjoyed it enough to want more.
If it is on TV maybe give it a watch but renting or buying it should be an afterthought.
