Review of The Libertine (2004) by Jess C — 19 Feb 2008
I was riveted by this movie from the first word to the last. Johnny Depp was amazing (he always is) I found myself replaying scene after scene with the subtitles on just to catch the words of the amazing script.
However, it's not a movie I would recommend to just anyone, it is certainly not mainstream or commercial by any means- thankfully, or I am sure it would have lost most of its impact.
