Review of The Libertine (2004) by Heidi K — 20 Feb 2008
Johnny Depp is the heart and soul of this movie. I liked the cameramovements and the naturalistic, almost hideous way of depicting the harsh story of the drunk Earl in the flea infested 1600's England.
Nevertheless, there was something that made the Libertine very shallow and thus not so good that I had expected. But Johnny Depp - you can't praise him enough.
