I think Johnny Depp did a great job portraying the second Earl of Rochester, although superficially Depp doesn't look anything like him!
Some aspects of the story were historically incorrect, but I guess that's because it's a "Hollywood" adaptation.
I really admire libertines! The story was overall pretty good. It was very tragic that the second Earl of Rochester died of syphilis. But of course he obviously would die of a STD since he was so promiscuous.
