Maybe I'm getting a bit jaded with films, but I was really expecting this to be much better. Depp, Morton, Malkatraz, poetry, theatre, history AND syphilis? And yet (shrugs). Perhaps if it had EITHER been funnier or grimmer? Perhaps if it had EITHER been more savage or more optimistic? I dunno.
Good to see Johnnys Depp and Vegas together at last though.
