Review of The Libertine (2004) by Caitlin H — 10 Nov 2008
This movie was just demented, that's the best word I can this of to discrbe it. Through the whole thing I was kind of confused becuase I didn't really see(or understand) a story but by the end I had decided that it was centered around this man's character rather than a story.
The things he says about himself at the beginning and the end just, ah, idk, just gives me the chills. it's just brilliant, like nothing else i've ever seen, and not everyone might get it, but it really is.
It's really wierd, even the way it's filmed might drive you crazy, but it will make you think if you give it a chance, and if you can actually get the point it can be very deep.
