Review of The Libertine (2004) by Leighton T — 25 Jul 2009
There were two very well acted scenes, one between Wilmot and his wife, and then between Wilmot and Liz Barry, near the end, that engaged me. The rest seemed to move too slowly, and the use of only candles as lighting made it hard to see, and colours hard to distinguish.
Altogether, rather boring.
