Review of The Letters (2014) by John H — 30 May 2016
I attended USC Film School and worked in film and television for a number of years and consider myself a sophisticated film viewer. I am completely baffled by the critics negative take on this film. It is superbly mounted in all regards: directing, acting, cinematography, costuming and art direction.
The Catholic notes are handled especially well. It is an authentic portrayal of a remarkable woman.
