Review of The Leopard (1963) by Foong M — 13 Dec 2011
I dont really know how to appreciate the story, as it first started with long boring beginning without knowing what is actually happening. But sooner, the storyline becomes clearer and leading the audience towards a bigger picture of the politics of Italy at that time.
The best visual based on the costumes of everyone attending the banquet. That is a whole night party with lots of happenings. Love, change of power from the nobility to voted leaders, it requires a transition of people's mindset and lifestyle to adapt.
We should be appreciating today's political stability and hopefully political maturity.
