Review of The Lego Movie (2014) by Jacob B — 25 Aug 2016
The Lego Movie shows that even shameless marketing for the Lego brand can be fun with a charming voice cast (including the role that made Chris Pratt famous in the cinematic industry), a creative and unique animation style consisting of CGI made to look like stop-motion, tons of humour for both kids and adults, a worthy story and even Marvel/DC-style action sequences.
Overall, this is a fun cinematic outing for the whole family with a catchy original song that you'll want to listen to again and again.
