I am very shocked on how great this movie was! The Lego Movie is shockingly fun amusement for all ages! One of the greatest animated movies I have seen in a long time! The first theatrical movie based on the construction toys of the same name is actually very entertaining! This is definitely one of the greatest films I have ever seen of 2014!

Like many animated movies, The Lego Movie has a incredibly and hilariously funny plot. The movie is set in a world of Legos (where everything is beautifully animated like constructed lego buildings), the movie sets its eye on Emmet (voiced by a wonderfully hilarious Chris Pratt), a lego character who acts like a regular guy, which is like everybody else. Emmet is a lonely mini figure who has no friends, then one day, something changed his life. The act that changes Emmet's life is when he is mistakenly identified by a prophecy as the most special, most talented, and most important person in the whole universe! He must prove he might be a master builder - a mini figure who can see everything and can build anything with his instincts. Emmet soon goes on a long special journey to try stop a evil ruler named Lord Business (voiced by Will Ferrell), from ruling the world, and destroying all Legos. This leads Emmet to the journey of a lifetime.

The film has an all-star packed cast. Chris Pratt and Will Ferrell are fantastic as the two lead characters. The amazing Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) plays Wyldstyle, his sidekick who can kick some butt. Will Arnett voices Batman, yes, I know he plays weird roles, but he is just great as voicing a great superhero. Liam Neeson voices the Good Cop / Bad Cop, Lord Business's sidekick who has a bad side and a good side. The voice talent that really surprised me in this film is Morgan Freeman as Vitruvius, an old wizard who helps Emmet on the prophecy.

This movie has a lot of brilliant ways of being originally good. The directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street), have made their greatest achievement yet by writing this talented screenplay. The animation is very unique when they took lego buildings, gadgets, and characters, and put them in beautifully stunning animation. The water, the explosions, the places, the clouds, the animals, the ground, and everything you could possibly think of is made of Legos, which makes this movie awesome. The film also includes a very catchy song called "Everything is Awesome," performed by Tegan and Sara and The Lonely Island.

I thought I was going to hate this movie, but it turned out be awesome! I would so call this one of the greatest animated movies of many years. The Lego Movie isn't just a must see, it is a genuis work of animation!
