Dirigida por Mike Mitchell y protagonizada por Chris Pratt y Elizabeth Banks; en esta segunda entrega de The LEGO Movie, el universo de LEGO se enfrenta a los invasores de Lego Duplo, quienes han destruido todo indicio de "awesomeness" en la ciudad. Después de cinco años, los ciudadanos se han vuelto más rudos y maduros, a excepción de Emmet, quien se ve en la necesidad de cambiar cuando Wyldstyle y sus amigos son raptados y llevados a otra dimensión.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part es una ingeniosa sátira que logra crear y contagiar una burla sobre la formula popular del consumismo actual, aún cuando no hace nada para cambiar el rumbo. Otro de los méritos es la animación y, aunque hay mucho CGI y falso stop-motion, la #película agrega elementos como dibujos 2D, material no animado y escenarios realistas para nivelar los ambientes y darle velocidad y dinámica. Lo que más me sorprendió fue la habilidad que tiene para crear una doble narrativa, en la que los personajes, sus acciones y descripciones, proponen una historia superpuesta fuera de lo que se ve.

Aunque estos aciertos son suficientes para mantener entretenido al público, no son excelentes y la trayectoria narrativa cliché, el dramatismo irónico y el pop reciclado provocan que el público nunca cruce la barda de la experiencia y se quede en una entretenida observación. The LEGO Movie 2 busca implantar el dilema que existe entre cambiar y ser uno mismo. La moraleja es intermitente en la película y la resolución, aparte de estar muy disuelta, busca dar una respuesta determinada: "Se tú mismo", lo cual provoca el abandono de la intención que de repente tuvo la historia de decir: "Cambia para bien" o "Madura". Personalmente eso fue lo que me hizo cavilar y crecer cierto disgusto por ella, pero para un público poco exigente, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part es suficiente para entretenerse y no sentir tedio por el cine infantil.

Directed by Micke Mitchell and voiced by Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks, in this follow up of The LEGO Movie, the universe of LEGO faces the invaders of LEGO Duplo, who have destroyed any sign of awesomeness in the city. After five years, all the citizens have become tougher and more mature but Emmet, who's challenged to change once Wyldstyle and his friends are abducted and taken to another dimension. The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part it's a clever satire that achieves to create and spread a mockery about the popular formula of actual consumerism, even yet, when it does nothing to change it. Another one of the merits it's the animation and, even though there's a lot of CGI and fake stop-motion, the movie adds elements like 2D drawings, non animated material and real live sceneries to play with the environment and give rhythm and dynamism to it. What surprised me the most was its ability to create a double narrative, in which its characters, their actions and descriptions, proposes an overlapped story outside of what it's been seen. Even though these achievements are enough to keep the public entertained, they are far from being excellent and the cliché narrative, the ironic drama and the recycled pop makes the public to never cross the wall of experience and leaves them only in an entertained observation. The LEGO Movie 2 search to place the dilemma between change and being oneself. The moral its intermittent in the movie and n the resolution, which is very dissolved, tries to give a determined answer: "Be yourself", which causes the abandonment of a sudden intention in the story to say: "Change for good" or "Grow Up". Personally, that was what made me brood and grow some dissatisfaction for it, but for a less demanding public, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part it's enough to get entertained and not feel tedium for kid films.
