Review of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019) by Steprock — 22 May 2019
Classic example of "not as good as the original" I'm afraid. It takes a slower and more introspective tone with too much of a meta story when it should just keep up the craziness and madcap humor of the original.
When it stays in that mode of fast-moving fun and humor it succeeds.
