Review of The Lego Batman Movie (2017) by Kinzua — 20 Feb 2017

It's rare that I have to really think about what flaws a movie had to critic it because it was that good to me. The way the comedic, serious, and heart-warming moments are packaged in this movie is amazing.

This movie doesn't take itself too seriously nor does it try to be a mindless parody and I commend it for that. Just like the Lego Movie, the visuals and animation are so astounding you sometimes forget you are watching a Lego movie.

As for the faults of this movie, it introduces so many characters but doesn't develop many of them and it lacks a grounded story. Overall, at least give this movie a watch because whether or not you like it as much as me, you're sure to have a good time.
