Review of The Lego Batman Movie (2017) by Hmf_47 — 14 Feb 2017

A very fun and goodhearted endeavor that makes fun of Batman and simultaneously shows appreciation towards him and his mythology. I like how it's the first Batman movie that's focused on the Bat-family and how it helps the Caped Crusader grow as a person. The fact that it's also a Lego movie allows for some imaginative action and crazy surprises that would never happen in a live action film.

However, I had my issues. I hate the idea of Batman having a crush on Barbara Gordon (it's not supposed to be that kind of relationship), and some scenes are way too hyperactive and fast-paced, which left me a bit dizzy by the end.
