Review of The Legend of Tarzan (2016) by Niels D — 06 Apr 2018
Starts off in an interesting way, but 50 minutes in, it kind of derails when Tarzan and some of his villager friends swing onto a moving train: bad CGI, a totally unnecessary fight and it's downhill from there with a series of sub-par action scenes.
It's not very clear why the Belgians commanded by Leon Rom have to be so cruel to get what they want.
And if anybody can explain what the purpose of Samuel L. Jackson's character is, I'd be happy to hear it :-) Some stunning jungle landscapes though :-).
