David Yate's more natural and gentle tone is wrongly matched with Tarzan which before Yates suffers from a weak script, an abundance of story issues and very weak characters. With less than mediocre performances much of the movie is miscast with Alexander Skarsgard really shooting any prospect of a career in the foot with his dull performance.
