From director Renny Harlin comes the trite and formulaic epic The Legend of Hercules. The casting is quite poor, and the performances are lifeless. Additionally, the special effects are overly produced; as the CGI stands out and looks remarkably fake.
And Harlin's directing makes a bad situation worse through sped up action scenes and freeze framing. The Legend of Hercules is a by the numbers sword-and-sandals film with no passion to it.
