Review of The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) by Kayla K — 14 Mar 2009
I am so glad I finally got my hands on this! It is so great!
A bunch of kids from the trailer park just want their motorscooter fixed when the bully steals it and trashes it. They want it without being beat up, raped, bribed, etc... because fair is fair. The way Billie Jean figures our how to become a symbol of righteousness for children is amazing. I love the Joan de Arc allusions.

3/4.
It is only better with a crowd and on the big screen. I am still very much in love with the young Keith Gordon character.
This movie definately hits a chord with its principled defiance. You just leave wanting to be a symbol of something!
