Review of The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) by Antoni G — 24 Feb 2013

In my personal experience, I was very, very curious about this movie ever since I was about sixteen. I saw the summary on Wikipedia, the trailer on YouTube and I was intrigued. Then at age nineteen, I gave this movie a watch on YouTube, even though the videos were split into parts.

And boy, this was greatest experience I had with The Legend of Billie Jean. Everything about this film was, simply put, amazing. Billie Jean, Ophelia, Putter, Binx and the attorney's son were my most favorite characters of the whole movie.

It's interesting to note that Putter was played by Yeardley Smith who four years later went on to voice Lisa Simpson from The Simpsons. Also, the title character Billie Jean was played by Helen Slater who also played Supergirl.

Worth mentioning is a young Chistian Slater who played Binx. Now that is a very talented cast of actors! Where on God's name can you go wrong with these people? The music is actually very memorable as well.

Overall, I highly recommend The Legend of Billie Jean to anyone. If you haven't watched it yet, I highly suggest you do. You will not regret it.
