Review of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) by Eric H — 12 Jan 2012
Honestly, I DO see what's wrong with this. It never takes advantage of this great premise it has and, honestly, some of the actors are bland, the characters aren't really examined, and what the heck is Tom Sawyer doing in this?! But, it's such a great premise, Sean Connery is still cool in this, and I feel a bit of an atmosphere that I can't help but enjoy.
Like with Van Helsing, I consider this film to be a guilty pleasure.
