Review of The Lazarus Effect (2015) by Allie W — 02 Mar 2015
It has a good cast that I really wanted to like, but what started as an interesting premise turned into a cliche horror film. It suddenly becomes almost a horror version of Lucy with our main character having powers and being able to use more than 10% of her brain.
I like Donald Glover and Evan Peters, but they don't really make believable scientists either. also it's one of those films where the preview pretty much shows you the entire film including character deaths.
Grade: D+.
