Review of The Lavender Hill Mob (1951) by Duncan A — 08 Aug 2007
A good example of the talent that was the Ealing Studio, however the film is overshadowed by the other crime/comedy - the Lady Killers. Great performances from both Guinness - as usual - and Sid James as they set about to steal gold bars.
Filled with Ealing's usual humor, a treat for any fan.
