Review of The Laughing Policeman (1973) by Richard D — 23 Mar 2013
A pretty solid cop film with a great cast. It didn't feel like anything particularly special, especially given the slew of great cop films that came out in this era, but it was engaging. I thought the solution was pretty obvious almost from the first few minutes, but it's not exactly a mystery.
I especially did like the dynamics between Walter Matthau and Bruce Dern. Dern almost steals the picture.
