Review of The Late Shift (1996) by Private U — 04 Jun 2007
This is one of the best HBO movies ever made, and is a great telling of the events that transpired around Johnny Carson's departure from television. It captures a great deal of fact and does so in an entertaining fashion.
John Michael Higgins and Treat Williams were amazing as David Letterman and Michael Ovitz, respectively. This is a must-see for Carson, Letterman or Leno fans!
