Review of The Late Shift (1996) by Corey G — 01 Jun 2008
I've watched this movie at least ten times. It's really cheaply executed and there's a really ill-advised cameo from some real life producer who delivers one of the worst performances every captured on screen, but the story and the lead performances are really fascinating (especially Kathy Bates as Leno's agent).
It's also like that it's about top-shelf comedians and yet no one in the movie is funny at all.
