Review of The Last Wave (1977) by Lucy S — 01 Jun 2008
One of the first truly serious, "arty" films I ever saw--beautiful, complex, and deeply disturbing in its treatment of aboriginal culture-- by a director who was not well-known at that time and has since become highly respected.
Deserves much more attention than it's had.
