A lot of people are rating this movie as a childhood favorite. This maybe so in my case as well, but I would even go a step further and say that I worship Peter S. Beagle for writing the novel that inspired this film.
This is not only my favorite childhood movie, it is one of my favorite movies EVER. I understand that not everyone may care for it, but it is a film that is very dear to my heart.
