Review of The Last Unicorn (1982) by Nikolai E — 22 Dec 2007
The quintessential animated fantasy film. Don't get distracted by the title or saccarine opening scene, this is a dark film overflowing with emotion, detail, danger, and stark human nature. Every voice is cast perfectly and performed passionately.
As good as the best of Bluth, and better than Disney at their prime.
