Your typical crappy Rankin/Bass animation, but untypical is the big-breasted, amorous tree and Tammy Grimes yelling "damn you!" to Mia Farrow. Also rare and distasteful (however ballsy) is Mia also attempting to sing.
This is another entry in the dark animated films of the last 70s and early 80s, while Disney was in a bit of a hibernation.
