Review of The Last Unicorn (1982) by Todd A — 19 Feb 2014
It is a timeless work, full of magic and humor. Peter S. Beagle has done a great job with both the novel, published over 50 years ago, as with film, being himself who wrote his script and oversaw its creation until it is brought to the screen.
It is a visually beautiful film, especially in scenes of Amalthea, the protagonist, so when a unicorn as when human. This contrast between her and the other characters (most exaggerated and grotesque features, but still enjoyable) highlights the magic that surrounds it and makes even the eye of the viewer, it is a be unusual.
