Review of The Last Unicorn (1982) by Sean S — 12 Jun 2008
This movie left a huge impression on me as a child. I used to watch it regularly when it was on TV, later taped it and eventually, many years later, bought the DVD. It's still an enchanting experience every time. There's the magical story, beautiful artwork, America's haunting music and songs and finally a great cast of voice actors. Most of all, I remember Christopher Lee's King Haggard, a role that he even reprised in the German dubbing.
On one hand I'd love to see the live action version being made. On the other, why do it again? This one is already an amazing and unique film.
