I just watched this again for the first time in probably twelve years. I still enjoy it. It's beautifully acted and animated and I just really like the story.
I DO think it's a little creepy for kids though... the creepy skeleton guy must have given me nightmares when I was a kid... I must have repressed the memory of him... I don't remember that at all. I also could do without the tree scene... weird, weird stuff....
But yeah, still love the movie. Oh, and Schmendrick is the best name ever.
