Review of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) by Juha R — 24 Mar 2008
A powerful and profound adaptation of an even greater novel. Energetically directed by Scorsese who, thankfully, never lets his style over-shadow the Idea. Consequently, the film reaches occasional beauty and, moreover, feels genuinely artistic and passionate.
